Depending on the time in season of your booking you might find ripe thimbleberry in season, taste meadow red huckleberry, sample trailing ground blackberries at the peak of their summer perfume or get a whiff of the famous apricot aroma of the summer chanterelle.
- Learn to confidently identify and safely harvest the wild foods of summer; from berries to edible greens and early mushrooms.
- This is an educational tour, not a harvesting expedition. Our goal is to provide you with the knowledge and foundation to safely forage and harvest berries independently in the future.
- A hands on, experiential learning opportunity for everyone. From tree and forest typology to wild plant identification, recommended harvesting practices and general foraging/outdoor safety will be covered.
- This guided tour offers a chance to learn from a master forager with decades of experience in the field.
