Celebrated as one of the forest’s true gourmet treasures, King Boletes, also known as porcini, are prized for their rich umami taste and meaty texture. Our finely ground powder distills their earthy depth into a versatile ingredient that elevates both rustic and refined dishes. A single spoonful brings the essence of autumn woods to your table, hearty yet elegant, nourishing yet luxurious.

A RICH TASTE OF AUTUMN

Porcini thrive in the mossy soils of conifer and hardwood forests, appearing with the cool, damp days of fall. Their stout stems and broad brown caps make them unmistakable to seasoned foragers, while their flavour makes them beloved by chefs worldwide. High in protein and naturally robust, these mushrooms embody the sustaining gifts of the wild. Their earthy complexity grounds those who savour them, connecting each bite to the forest floor. Dried and powdered, they offer a flavour both enduring and profound — a wild ingredient that turns everyday dishes into memorable meals.

I just love the wild salal berry jelly you sent me. It’s absolutely delicious. I enjoy it with crackers and cheese and just on its own on toast. Can’t imagine how you manage to take something growing in the forest and make it taste so good. I’m really interested in native plants and have tried to grow a salal bush in my garden with no success. I think I will try again tho after tasting your product or perhaps I’ll get ambitious and forage some berries on my own.
Thanks very much and have a very Happy New Year !
